Replacing Tires

With the fat tire package, many people run tire pressure at about 20psi for a softer ride.
If you have the standard Town and Country tires or the Schwalbe tires 20psi is probably too low, you will be more likely to get a pinch flat.

Popeye suggestion: Treat all your tires with Armor-all UV protectant and preservative. It will reduce dry rot.

There are two standard rim sizes in the front.  24 inch rims are used for the fat tire package. 26 inch rims are used for the standard tire option, and the Schwalbe tire package.  The fat tires are much thicker than normal tires so the actual diameter of the fat tires on 24 inch rims is close to 25 inches.

Putting fat tires on front 26 inch rims will not work because the tires will be around 27 inches in diameter and will not fit inside of the front fenders.
